2009 Golden Globe Awards Boom Boom Room Celebrity Gifting Suite Features Saurette

New York, NY - January 9, 2009 - Saurette is presenting the best of its 2009 Spring collection at this year's Boom Boom Room Baby and Big Kid Villa in an invite-only two day event leading up to the Golden Globe Awards. The event presents an opportunity to give celebrities and the media an exclusive sneak peek at Saurette's feminine "petite version of mom" collection prior to its March 2009 launch.

The annual Boom Boom Room gifting suite event, founded by celebrity kiddie swag expert Jayneoni Moore, gathers elite brands of baby, kid and family friendly products to connect celebrities and the media with the must-have items for the entire family. Lisa Kanouse, founder and creative director of Saurette, received an exclusive invitation to present her sophisticated children's clothing line at this year's event taking place January 9th and 10th in Los Angeles CA. “I am so honored to have been asked to be one of the sponsors for the Boom Boom Room. Lisa Kanouse set out to create a "mini me" collection inspired by mom's own wardrobe, "I think modern parents want their children to look as good as they do. By offering little girl’s an opportunity to dress more like mom, it offers a fresh approach to dressing little girls." Kanouse was influenced by current trends on the runway and contemporary markets. Her collection includes elegant and flirty elements like "exploded/large florals, empire waistlines and blouson sleeves while still keeping childlike styling in mind."

Saurette, which is French for "swan", is set to launch in March 2009 and has already received rave reviews, including the prestigious Best in Show award at the ENK Children's Club Spring 2009 Show. The collection has also garnered attention from Earnshaw's, the premier media resource serving the children's market. The attention Kanouse's line has already garnered is a sure fire indicator of its high end appeal assuring Saurette a comfortable spot in celebrity tot wardrobes.
