We had the pleasure of doing our first West Coast Trunk Show this week at Pumpkinheads in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Thanks to Daily Candy LA, Blackburn and Sweetzer, & LA Story, for helping to get the word out about the event!



Thanks to Jamara from Pumpkinheads for welcoming Saurette and inviting your clientele in to meet us while shopping and enjoying some refreshments! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed getting to know you and your clients. (Lisa Kanouse & Jamara Ghalayini (owner of Pumpkinheads), pictured below)



Saurette's Fall 2009 collection was previewed with a special offering for the event.




Special thanks to our wonderful sponsors of the tea & cupcakes for the event. They were a huge hit and a perfect match! Naja provided us with several tea choices, our favorites being the "Pink Passion" made of Apples, Fresh Peaches, Apricots, Hibiscus and the "Mix & Mingle" , my personal favorite, made of Fair Trade Certified Organic Black Tea, Toasted Coconut, Chocolate, Vanilla & Rooibos (made you want to eat the tea leaves out of the canister. Lucky for us, one of the Layers cupcakes was infused with the Mix & Mingle tea and was so yummy, I had to have two of them! Layers also provided us with Peach cobbler and Strawberry Lemonade flavored cupcakes. All of their flavors are so decadent and unusual, you have to check them out!

My dear friend and publicist, Kate Sullivan, came along to help out for the event. Kate is the owner of KickPR, a wonderful boutique public relations firm based in New York City that works with emerging designers. I can't say enough good things about Kate.
