Saurette Joins Super Saturday 13 for a Day of Family Events and Shopping to Benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
(New York; July 20, 2010) On July 31, 2010, Donna Karan, In Style, and Ariel Fox will be hosting the annual Super Saturday event in Water Mill, New York from 1-6PM. Super Saturday 13 is a mega-shopping event that raises awareness for Ovarian Cancer and all proceeds from the event are donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).
Super Saturday draws crowds and celebrities from all over to shop 'til they drop and join in on fun festivities such as manicures and pedicures, spa services, and psychic readings. One hundred and seventy five designers will take part at the daylong event at Nova's Ark Project in Water Mill, NY. Saurette, a contemporary collection of clothing for girls ages two to twelve, will be offering their signature billowy dresses, vibrant patterned skirts, and adorable tops and shorts. Shoppers will find Saurette in good company with other notable designers such as Nanette Lepore, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Charlotte Ronson, and Ports 1961.

We had the pleasure of doing our first West Coast Trunk Show this week at Pumpkinheads in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Thanks to Daily Candy LA, Blackburn and Sweetzer, & LA Story, for helping to get the word out about the event!

Saurette's Fall 2009 collection was previewed with a special offering for the event. 
Special thanks to our wonderful sponsors of the tea & cupcakes for the event. They were a huge hit and a perfect match! Naja provided us with several tea choices, our favorites being the "Pink Passion" made of Apples, Fresh Peaches, Apricots, Hibiscus and the "Mix & Mingle" , my personal favorite, made of Fair Trade Certified Organic Black Tea, Toasted Coconut, Chocolate, Vanilla & Rooibos (made you want to eat the tea leaves out of the canister. Lucky for us, one of the Layers cupcakes was infused with the Mix & Mingle tea and was so yummy, I had to have two of them! Layers also provided us with Peach cobbler and Strawberry Lemonade flavored cupcakes. All of their flavors are so decadent and unusual, you have to check them out!
